The Hub at Rutland Point is a versatile spot that blends a casual café vibe with business center functionality and a touch of community spirit. Nestled on Glaston Road in Morcott, this place feels both welcoming and purposeful — catering to locals dropping in for breakfast or a midday coffee, as well as business visitors who might appreciate the professional yet laid-back environment.

During the mornings, The Hub hums with a steady flow of people grabbing well-crafted brekkies like the Brewmasters Brekky or the Vegetarian Brekky, alongside simple but satisfying options such as bacon or sausage cobs. The menu leans homey and straightforward, which fits the atmosphere: unpretentious, comfortable, and thoughtfully run. The coffee here holds its own, complementing the food with something more than your run-of-the-mill brew, drawing both early risers and those lingering over a catch-up or work.

Inside, the space strikes a balance between stylish and inviting with clean, modern décor that doesn’t feel sterile — a reflection of its dual role as a café and business hub. Regulars appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, whose warm hospitality helps the café feel more like a well-loved local meeting spot than just a place to eat. The Hub’s commitment to supporting local producers is visible not only in the food but also through its display of handcrafted items, including unique crafts and locally made cakes, adding a layer of local character and connection.

The Hub also offers practical touches for travelers and locals alike, like allowing overnight campervan parking for a small fee, which encourages visits from those passing through or on longer journeys. This thoughtful accommodation underlines how the venue is embedded in the rhythm of the neighborhood and beyond.

The best time to drop by is either a bright morning for breakfast or a relaxed lunch, when the café settles into a friendly buzz, and you can soak in both the community feel and the occasional quiet moment. Whether you’re here for a quick bite, a casual business catch-up, or a relaxed lunch with a slice of pistachio cake for later, The Hub at Rutland Point offers a pleasantly grounded experience with a local flavor, comfortably bridging the gap between work and leisure.

Highly recommend: 1. Friendly helpful staff, who gave the best welcome and went out of their way to be helpful. 2. Beautiful cafe/pub, stylish decor 3. Spotlessly clean 4. Buys local produce, meat and cakes etc 5. Good select of delicious home cooked food. Breakfast was 5 star. 6. Supports local independent craft businesses. Brought a beautiful vase. 7. Good selection of drinks, including delicious fresh coffee 8. Very welcoming to dogs 9. The place is set back from a road, but we had a peaceful nights sleep. 10. Events are held at The Hub, we will definitely keep an eye on their facebook page. We were so impressed to hear the Hub is supporting a local college in offering work experience to young people. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Please be generous when staying and help support these young men to have a wonderful successful business. Best wishes Richard, Lorraine and Rudi

Great little place! We are staying at the hotel next door and have been in The Hub for a late lunch yesterday and breakfast this morning; both were lovely. The staff, and owner, were very accommodating (we had JPs from the lunch menu despite it being passed the menu time). Breakfast this morning was superb! We've taken a couple of slices of pistachio cake for afternoon tea. The atmosphere at The Hub is warm and welcoming, with a real fire in the dining area. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for somewhere to stop off.

I was aware that this cafe allowed people to stay in their carpark overnight in a camper van. I was travelling 300 miles and decided to stop here overnight. I had a ciabatta Sunday afternoon. Asked about staying overnight and although my motorhome is over 17 foot long, they were happy for me to park up at the front. Service was excellent and the charge to stay is £10, but this is refunded if you spend that on food. Great views and a pleasant flat carpark. Although early morning traffic woke me earlier than I'd like. However the cafe was open, so I had an excellent cooked breakfast before continuing my journey home. It was a great end to my holiday. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. As a single lady, I felt happy to stay here overnight on my own. Cheers guys.

Fantastic experience and service from Joe and the team. Even the weather and the pouring rain added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious and so was the two chinos coffee. Thanks Gang!

Joe was incredible and such a laugh! The lasagna is great and the vibe is top, doesn’t matter if you’re a local or just passing by. Don’t miss it! Cute lil art and crafts collection to :) If you’re lucky they might have the best pistachio cake

We were staying at Redwings next door and popped in here for dinner and a couple of breakfasts. It has a real coal fire and it felt wonderfully cosy and warm on a particularly chilly evening. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and were so flexible about our meal choices. As for the meals, all were perfectly cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. There was also a selection of delicious-looking homemade cakes that we decided needed sampling. We weren't disappointed! The coffee I had with this was the best I've had in a while. If you're in the area and in need of sustenance, I would recommend that you give this place a try.
